Are there any tektites from outside the Earth's atmosphere?

No, tektites are not from outside Earth's atmosphere. Tektites are natural glass objects formed from terrestrial debris ejected during meteorite impacts. They are found on Earth and are composed of terrestrial materials that have been melted and rapidly cooled. According to research published in the Journal of Geophysical Research and studies by the Lunar and Planetary Institute, tektites are formed when a meteorite impacts the Earth's surface, causing the local rocks and soil to melt and be ejected into the atmosphere. These materials then cool and solidify as they fall back to Earth, forming tektites. There is no evidence to suggest that tektites originate from extraterrestrial sources.
