Wabar Iron & Pearl Pair

Wabar Iron and Wabar Pearls are two closely related materials from the Wabar crater field in Saudi Arabia, combining genuine Iron meteorite material with natural impact glass formed during the same event. Wabar Iron is classified as an Iron, IIIAB meteorite, representing ancient iron-nickel material formed over 4.5 billion years ago within the metallic core of an early differentiated asteroid. When this material impacted Earth, the extreme heat generated by the event melted local desert sand, producing small glassy droplets and fragments known as Wabar Pearls.

 

Wabar Iron is typically dense, dark, metallic, and often naturally weathered from long exposure in the desert environment.
