Agoudal is an Iron meteorite from the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco, officially classified as Iron, IIAB-an. It is also widely known by the commercial synonym ‘Imilchil’. The first small pieces were reportedly collected in the Agoudal area in 2000, with later recognition and wider recovery bringing the meteorite to the collector market. As an anomalous IIAB Iron, Agoudal represents ancient iron-nickel material from an early differentiated asteroid, with chemistry that sets it apart from more typical IIAB examples.

Specimens of Agoudal are composed primarily of iron-nickel metal and can show attractive Widmanstätten patterns when cut, polished, and etched. Natural individuals often display weathered exterior surfaces, sculpting, regmaglypts, and dense metallic character typical of Iron meteorites. Its Moroccan provenance and recognisable structure make it a strong representative of North African Iron meteorite material.

For collectors, Agoudal offers a recognised Moroccan Iron meteorite with strong visual appeal, established provenance, and an unusual classification. Its availability in both natural and prepared forms makes it suitable for display, study, or inclusion in a wider Iron meteorite collection. Each specimen represents ancient asteroid core material, preserved in metallic form for over 4.5 billion years.
