Agoudal is an Iron meteorite from the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco, officially classified as Iron, IIAB. It was first recognised from pieces collected near Agoudal in 2000 and has also been widely traded under the commercial synonym ‘Imilchil’. As an IIAB Iron, Agoudal represents ancient iron-nickel material from an early differentiated asteroid, where metallic material cooled slowly before later impacts broke the parent body apart and eventually delivered fragments to Earth. The Meteoritical Bulletin records Agoudal as a Moroccan Iron meteorite with the synonym Imilchil.

Agoudal specimens are composed primarily of iron-nickel metal and can show Widmanstätten patterns when cut, polished, and etched. Natural individuals often display sculpted surfaces, weathered patina, flow lines, and small regmaglypts, giving them strong visual character as whole specimens. Some studies and dealer descriptions also note unusual structural features, including recrystallisation in certain material, linked to a complex shock and thermal history.

Studying Agoudal provides insight into the formation, cooling, and later impact history of metallic asteroid material. Its IIAB classification places it among a recognised group of Iron meteorites that help scientists understand core formation and crystallisation in early planetary bodies.
